intervene QA practice

Something just went sideways.

Protocol practice for remote interpreters, scored the way your QA monitoring form scores a call. Your trainer will have given you an access code; a Relay code works here too.

Codes last 21 days. Your results are saved against your code so your trainer can see how the group is doing. Close the tab and this browser forgets the code.
intervene QA practice

Something just went sideways. What do you do?

The call connects and the doctor wants to start without an introduction. The provider steps out and the ten-minute hold clock starts. A bilingual daughter takes over the interpreting and gets a word wrong. Pick the right move before the clock runs out. A wrong move does not end the moment: the encounter continues with the consequence, and you get one chance to repair it out loud.

Pressure
PacksOne area of the monitoring form in full. Harder moments later in the pack.
Badges
Scoring
100 for the right move, up to +50 for speed on the clock, times your streak (up to ×3). A repair after a wrong move earns 50.
Composure
Three pips. A wrong move costs one. Lose all three and the run ends early, repair or not.
Judged against
The QA monitoring form: customer service, managing the session, code of ethics and camera presentation, one parameter per moment. The report turns your run into a scorecard percentage using the form's own weights.

Keyboard: 1 to 4 to answer, Enter to continue, H to hear the line again. Scenarios are training fiction; no real patient is described.
